Rocky Butte

What a great day to get outside!

A young bald eagle.

Brown Creeper came up close to us to see what he could find on this tree.

The bushtit was jumping around so much we barely got his picture.

The chestnut backed chickadee.

Mt Hood was quite a site from the top of the butte.

Tualatin Wildlife Refuge

We went to Tualatin Wildlife Refuge a couple of weeks ago and were able to see a Western Screech Owl. He was sleeping in the tree about a mile into the refuge.

The next weekend it was Fernhill Wetlands. There were plenty of Canada Geese.

I like how the you can see the drops of water coming off of his feet in this picture.
