November birds in the morning

Cedar Waxwing showing off his colors.

There were about a dozen Golden-Crowned Kinglets in the backyard this morning. It was a treat to watch them jumping around the trees getting the water from underneath the leaves and pine needles.

A couple of Chestnut Backed Chickadees joined in the fun. This one was very curious and let me get in close for a picture.

October Autumn Colors

I think the buck would have come in the garage if it was open.

FernHill Wetlands

Went to Fernhill Wetlands today.
There were plenty of geese flying over.
Our main goal was to find a Green Heron... and here he is...

Coyotes in Damascus

The coyotes woke us up on Saturday morning. They were frolicking in the field. At one point we counted 7 at a time! I caputured this video from inside the house. As soon as I unlocked the sliding door they ran into the woods.

I was trying out a new setting on the camera tonight and the Great Blue Heron (Terrie) flew right past me. He is so BIG!
