Yellowstone

Tons of wildlife and tons of fun!

Animal Twins

Last week it was the cute deer twins that I caputured with my digital and this morning it was the coyotes.
Right after the photos were taken Chuck chased them off with the pellet gun. He never really aims at them.
An hour later one returned. A fire engine went by with the siren going and you could see the coyote howling along with it. It was so funny.

Lightning

I changed this one with new ideas.

Family History

This one contains some of the hard work I went through scanning old photos. The one in the top left of the barn is my grandfather in the wagon with his sister and the rest of the family. I took the photo of the photo at one the historical events in Gresham a couple of years ago. They said it was an unidentified family. Little did they know. It was taken at the corner of 207th and Sandy where there is now a gas station.

Trip from 2005

In 2005 I had a great vacation planned for Tahoe and then my step-daughter decided to get married the same week...in New York!

We made new plans and saw some things we never expected all thanks to Julie.

We flew into NY and drove to Niagara Falls, then through Canada (we stayed in London, Canada - hung out at a local pub while their hockey team was in the finals - how fun!) then on to Michigan to see my oldest brother Dan and his wife Pam, then to Chicago.

tonight

The lightning tonight was awesome. I had to take almost 500 photos before I could capture one lightning strike. The new camera takes them one after another. It is pretty cool. Maybe I will have to use this for one of my scrapbook pages.
