The humming bird's wings move in a circle eight. This allows them to fly in all directions, even upside down.
The great horned owl - it was hard to capture a photo because it was night. At least you see the outline with his "horns".
The cooper hawk just before he took off chasing a scrub jay. The scrub jay fought long and hard, but I don't think he made it.

Wow! These pictures are awesome! You are getting better and better at taking birdie pictures. I like the horned owl one even if you can't see the details.
The humming bird... oh, my! Gorgeous. I've recently started taking pics of bugs and tiny flowers...so I can identify with your joy. Maybe some day it will be birds (of a feather). Ha.
